appointments
To assure that clients always receive a thorough office visit, all patients are seen by appointment. Depending on the number of travelers in your party, the complexity and length of your trip and your individual health history, clinic office visits usually last 30 to 60 minutes.
To optimize your appointment time, please download and complete a patient health history form before your appointment. This completed form should be returned at the time of your appointment as it will help us assess your vaccination and prescription needs.
Many patients are able to receive all prescriptions and vaccinations in one visit, while others with more complex needs may require a series of two to three injections over a period of weeks. Therefore, it is best to schedule an appointment four to six weeks before your trip. Some vaccines require two weeks after administration to provide maximum protection. Therefore, it is not inappropriate to schedule your appointment as much as three months before your trip.
We ask that payment be made at the time of service. We gladly accept cash, personal checks and Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card as well as debit cards. Please note, while many health insurance providers do not cover “preventative” travel medical office visits or vaccinations, we do provide detailed receipts which are appropriately coded for the medical services performed. These can be personally submitted to your insurance provider with their specific claim form in an attempt to seek insurance reimbursement, if you wish.
We offer monthly invoice billing for our corporate clients. Please ask your Human Resource supervisor to call to us in order to establish a billable corporate account.
